“Miserere” has taken its name from the concluding piece: Gregoria Allegri’s Miserere, as performed by the Tallis Scholars. While working on this mix, I soon felt that this piece had to be the conclusion, and that it should not be combined with other pieces of music or environmental sounds.

Like it’s companion mix (“Strange Birds”, published last week) this mix was also broadcast in April 2008. It’s a further walk in the same landscape. Sometimes the tension may rise somewhat, but the view remains spectacular.
The spring-like chatter in Christina Kubisch’ “Tea Time (Autumn Leaves Mix)” evokes a strange and hypnotic landscape sometimes unnerving, sometimes comforting.
